First of all: Vignettes are compulsory on Austrian motorways! You can purchase them either at a petrol station or online in advance.

  • From Switzerland and Vorarlberg via the Arlberg route, Landeck towards Reschenpass to Fiss.
  • From southern Germany, France, Holland and Belgium via the German A7 motorway, the Fernpass route and Imst through the Landeck tunnel to Prutz to Fiss.
  • From northern Germany via Munich, Garmisch and the Fernpass route and Imst or via Munich and the Austrian A12 motorway via Kufstein, Innsbruck, Imst and Landeck to Fiss.

If you arrive by bus and train

  • Every Railjet and regional train stops at Landeck-Zams train station, 25 km from Fiss. From here you can either take the VVT buses or a taxi to Fiss. Landeck station is a Rail & Drive partner of ÖBB.

If you arrive by plane...

The nearest airport, Innsbruck-Kranebitten, is about 1 hour's drive from Fiss. From there, you can either take the train to Landeck and continue by bus to Fiss or rent a car or take a taxi.
